NOEMA - Threshold
We have some prog rock from Vienna here. This intro is super trippy. Dark , gloomy, aliens from outer space vibes. This track screams prog when the instruments kick in. It has a strangely upbeat tone and beat to it. The lyrics definitely fit into that outer space theme. There is almost some math rock sequences happening instrumentally. The tempo shifts keep this song really interesting. Vocally it manages to keep this upbeat , fun quality to it. I absolutely love the synth work done here. This track has a fluffy , enjoyable , groovy quality. Production is well executed. The bass shines through in this song as well which is always a bonus.

Execution Style - Terraform
With a name like this , you would expect this song to totally kick your ass.... and it does. It wastes no time kicking you in the teeth. Fantastic heavy thrash elements blasting into your core and bones. The vocalist is assaulting me with his voice!! The artwork is pretty kick ass too. halfway through the track we a slow down a little bit and this track has a gravitational force that makes me feeling like my skin is melting. The anger is palpable. I highly recommend this one.

Conduition - vi. The Game Again
switching vibes a bit here, the intro here is a good cool down. The track is about looking at situations from a different perspective. Introspection is talked about here in the lyrics, this is the kind of track you put on when you want to do some introspection yourself. Once the guitar really kicks in on this track it creates something really special. Heavy, ethereal vibes on this one. Vocally it is so airy, beautiful and calming. This track reaches down into your soul and brings up mixed thoughts of pain and happiness. Very thoughtfully written track here.

Sotto James - Talisman
This track continued to grow on me the more I listened. The guitar tone is really really nice. The bass really shines through and made this song memorable to me. It is the kind of tune that makes you stop and reflect on your life a little bit. Its beautiful when a song really stops to make you think. Another really introspective track. The acoustic tones are beautiful. Lyrically this song might tear you up a bit, which is a good thing sometimes. The video does a great job of capturing the emotions of the song. Little bit of Incubus vibes sprinkled in here but this song takes on a life of its own. This one has a lot of replay value without a doubt.

The Funeral Procession - Carrion
Finally , we get another black metal song to add into the reviews and this one is a banger. It has every element you would hope a black metal song to have. Creepy , mumbling vocals mixed with absolute brutal gutterals and blood curdling screams yet some parts of this song drift outside the classic black metal formula, we have some clean melodic vocals which actually worked pretty well. The guitar really shines in this one. Its dissonant , fast and eerie.

Living Theory - Take me as I am
Italian alternative metal band with over a decade of experience come through with this new track. This one has kind of a video game sound track vibe to it that i really like. There is some interesting samples or synths that give this song some electronic elements. Interesting vocal effects that give this song a modern metal feel. This one is teetering between hard rock and metal , it does have a radio potential sound. Some djenty, metalcore riffs are the backbone of the song. The chorus is really catchy , it is intelligently written. This one grew on me. When we do finally get some really throw down riffs and gutturals it really brought this track together.

AVIDITAS - I Love The Moon
The first thing that always draws me to a track first is the artwork and this one is a trip. Its pretty creepy! The artwork really matches the melancholic vibes of this song. The production quality is a little rougher on this one but not in a bad way. It does sort of have the AI digital artifact sounds vocally which might explain the track having a bit of a rougher production quality which does seem to intensify the longer the track goes. I think lyrically this song is entertaining but if AI music is not your thing I think there is a strong possibility of this song using AI. But if you dont mind AI usage in music, this is a solid fit for a rock playlist.
