enough - Live, Laugh, Love

There is not much of an intro to this track and that is okay , it did not really need one. the band just wanted to get their sound directly into your ear as quickly as possible on this one. this track has more of a tame, radio rock vibe to it but it also manages to show alot of artistic quality and expression. The song writing, lyrics are super solid. I could see this being a successful release without a doubt. The vocalist has a great voice for a rock band.

The Bitter Sweet - Silver Lining

this track has a very melancholic intro. The intro actually does sound bittersweet, emotional and tender. The bass sounds absolutely incredible when it kicks in. SO full. The vocalist is brilliant. The lyrics really hit you in the gut and heart. This is a track to close your eyes to and let it take you on a journey through memories. I truly believe this track should be a massive hit. It is so well written. A lot of groove in this one.

Scotty Lif - It's Never Enough

going a bit more in the pop punk realm with this one. But boy is it good. The album artwork just already has that vibe that its going to hit you in your feelings. This really sounds like something you would hear on the radio in 2005 and a song that you end up loving for a lifetime. It really has alot of passion in it. Its relaxing , but also heavy in the way that it may make you emotional.

Dirtwomb - Tension

its songs like these , when i do come across them that make me feel lucky to review music. Holy shit this guitar tone is brilliant. I need a CD copy of this asap. The groove here is so ridiculous it makes me wonder how its possible. This is like Helmet and Type-O Negative had a baby. Love the album cover. This song is absolutely not very polished and i love for it. These riffs are so chunky they scramble my brain.

Julien Meirone - Filtered

going into the metalcore realm here, this song has a very epic feel to it. It has a nice storytelling, perhaps soundtrack quality to it. They really let the bass shine in this track which is always a yes for me and boy does it sound filthy. The vocals are super quality in this track. Vocalist nailed the harsh and clean vocals effortlessly. Production of the instrumental is super well thought out , seamlessly flows great with the cadence of the vocals. I definitely recommend this one for your road trip or inspirational playlists.

OMBRA - BLUE DREAM

this song explores addiction and paranoia , a heavy topic accompanied by a heavy instrumental. There is a kind of blend of southern rock meets industrial here which is really neat i really like it. Its super catchy, it kind of teeters between rock and metal but who cares it sounds fantastic. There is some continues groove throughout the song really driven by the drum beat and screamin guitar. Vocal effects were used thoughtfully , its not too much and adds to this kind of industrial vibe that flows in and out of the song. This is a track about a serious topic but feels light and fun somehow at the same time.
