Michi Gray Eyes - Her Dark Side
US based female singer Michi Gray Eyes delivers a fantastic performance here. Her voice manages to sound fragile at some points and also full of passion and force. She cant really belt out a scream when she wants to portray her anger! The video is dynamic , beautiful and scary! some moments of this video feel like a horror film. The instrumental is very well made for her vocal style. Soft when it needs to be , heavy when it needs to be. I think this is a very promising look into what else this artist will be coming up with.

Danner - You Could Fly
This German prog band wastes no time throwing you right into their groove filled music. The drum and bass line is super groovy backed with dynamic chunky guitar riffs. The bass really shines in this track which is always a bonus for me. The vocals are catchy, especially the chorus when both vocalists mesh together. The video is pretty cool being a visualizer of the band but also a lyrical video. The breakdown towards the end of the song really shows the guitar player skills in this group. It is a fun song with a real bouncy groove.

Hold Me Tight - Silence Before Rebirth
Italian hardcore band comes in hot with a banger featuring Desolated. This intro is very electronic sounding with some super dissonant guitar sounds, with a rap style beat which quickly turns into an absolute beatdown of thick heavy guitars. The way this track progresses is so smooth and entertaining. Nice blending of clean and harsh, adrenaline pumping screams. The guitar playing is really what shines through on this track for me, but also these slower break moments with the clean ethereal sounding vocals makes this track memorable for me. The dissonant guitar parts and the brutal break downs are fantastic. Highly recommend this one.

The summon - Treasure Hunt (Burying the World Cup in a Plastic Bag)
Well I have to say I was already intrigued just by the song title as it is quite unique and odd. Some real symphonic sounds start this track briefly before we get into some very classic , good sounding death metal grooves. All of the instruments sound clear , heavy and are doing their jobs splendidly. The vocals is what makes this track stand out for me. The vocalist has the perfect approach for this instrumental. The fry, growls and screams really drive this track forward. The track speeds ups and slows down masterfully like it is reading your mind.

HKSPK - rot in despair
Ending off this article of reviews we have a blackened death metal band from Germany. I really loved this intro as it dives more into the atmospheric side of black/death metal. It has more of that folk , story telling element to it. The drums really shine through beautifully here. The drum sound is so full and booming. Actually , all of the instruments sound incredibly full and mega super powerful. There is no wasted space in this track and production. This track sounds like thunder booming in my ear drums. Every one in this group really knows their job and executes masterfully. This is some of the best death metal I have heard in a minute.

Thank you for reviewing my song "Her Dark Side". I think you meant to say "she can really belt out a scream" : ) I appreciate your kind review! -Michi
