Dissociate - Tom Loves Capital
This track wastes no time blowing out your eardrums, in a way you enjoy. Its a short track but doesn't disappoint with bringing the heaviness and super thick , distorted guitars. This is a great mixture of thrash and punk attitude and execution. I think its a great song to throw in in-between in your heavy playlists.
Raging Lines - Let Me Know
This track is a little different than what I usually share but its so funky , groovy and catchy I cant help but appreciate it. This track takes you on a journey of different vibes and feeling. The bassline is really carrying this song as the driving force. The guitar adds some nice needed melody to take this track to another level. Vocally it has a bit of an indie rock feel to it and is pleasant. Its a great song for a road trip playlist.
Sadraen - Blooming Hell
These riffs we get from the start are absolutely bone crushing. The intensity is pulsing strongly through this track. The vocals kick in and sound completely tormented. The feelings portrayed in the song fit the track title very well. Vocally it switches through various styles of absolutely brutal gutturals and emotionally fueled raspier vocals with some melody. This track not only sounds heavy in a heavy metal sense but emotionally this track captivates you and you can feel the heaviness in the lyrics as well.
Wörmdigger - Remain
This track first greets us with a very pleasant , very melodic riff which quickly transforms to the heavy riffs you can expect from these guys. But they do a really good job of blending a lot of melody and heartfelt lyrics into their music. Its a really thoughtful blend of heavy and soft. There is a little bit of thrash sprinkled in here with these riffs. Its teetering between hard rock and metal but leans more on the metal side. We get a nice area where the track slows down momentarily and shifts the tone. Great reverb used and we get a taste of a nice guitar solo section. The artwork is super cool here too. Solid production.
Chrysalis - Flesh Versus Spirit
Ending with a very different style of track here that is most interesting. The first thought I had after listening to this is how highly innovative and creative it was. I don't think I have quite heard anything like it and don't quite know how to describe what genre this would fit in. Its just an experience you have to dive into and see how it affects you. There is use of distorted didgeridoo and percussions that sound like lightning crashing. this first area of vocals is very trancelike as you, this track is really a genre that takes you through a lot of different sounds and feelings. We get some more guitar implemented around 4 minutes in which is a nice picking up of pace. The tempo really changes and picks up later in the track into a more hard rock/punk sound and some really harsh and heavy vocals come in which is a complete shift in contrast from the soft, ethereal sounding vocals we get throughout the majority of the song. It really ends on a bang.
